The Voyage NNW 002
This CD features a previously unreleased Album by Suntreader recorded in London in the mid-1970s.
The original tapes, long believed lost, were only recently located (May 2001).
Although some percussion overdubs were necessary, the basic tracks were recorded
'live' in the studio as first and only takes. We wanted the end result to sound
fluid and organic, and so rhythmic patterns go in and out of phase, tonal centres
blur and then coalesce and the overall form is free and completely subservient
to the demands of the musical material as it appears within the improvisation.
