February 2012 news update

There will be a chance to hear a recital of Morris' piano music on the evening of

19th April in Schott's Music Shop, Great Marlborough Street, London.

The programme for the London recital will include music from the 70s written in London and stuff from the 21st century written in NW Scotland. There will also be new pieces based on a theme from "The Drosten Stone" written by Geoff Hannan and Ian Mathieson, and probably something by Takemitsu to commemorate Morris' collaboration with Stomu Yamashta.

9th February 2012 Date for Morris music by Mark Spalding in Dundee

I'll be repeating my Fringe program of Morris' piano music at Dundee University Chaplaincy Centre at 7.30 pm Thursday 9th February 2012. Hoping to get it filmed this time.

Mark Spalding continues to plan more performances of Morris's music, 2012

may be a busy year for Voyage in Space. I'm working on clips from a DVD I received from Mark

of his talk / performance in Arbroath, stunning stuff on it's way.

A new video of Voyage in Space,  the 13th and 16th movt. 2 pieces performed by  Helen Hung

In the video section under MEDIA . Lovely stuff.

Well I'm back, still a few pages to upload but enough to be going on with, if you still see problems in a month or so let me know,

I have video to put up and some other unreleased tracks to mp3. I'm not sure what will happen with chromosphere but it will unfold.

If you can add to the discography with anything missed, like T Rex Dandy in the Underworld   dho!  please mail me.

Once again thanks for your support over the years.

Do your friends a favour, buy them all a Morris Pert CD for Christmas :-)
